Ans. The player is Duncan Edwards, legendary Man-Utd player and most famous among the 'Busby Babes'. He was critically injured in the Munich Air Disaster in 1958 and died of kidney failure a few days later

Salute to legends like him, who never got to play at the World Cup, due to one reason or the other-To Di Stefano, Schuster, George Weah, Tessier, Kanchelskis, Kubola, Ryan Giggs, George Best, Cantona, Ian Rush, Mark Hughes, Ginola etc.
